What is SpeedyTab?

Speedy Tab hosts a network of restaurants whose menus' are web enable.  Patrons can access a restaurants menu directly through the restaurant's URL (web address).

Are there any fees associated with SpeedyTab?

SpeedyTab is FREE for patrons.  Having a Speedy Tab account actually saves money for patrons; most proprietors offer exclusive discounts through their online menu powered by Speedy Tab.  Additionally, if a patron opts to receive periodical specials direct from the proprietor the savings can really add up.

What is my SpeedyTab Account?

Your Speedy Tab Account is an easy for you to order meals from your favorite restaurants. Establishing a SpeedyTab account is fast and absolutely FREE.  Establishing an account entitles you access exclusive deals, receive special officers, and stay up to date with the latest offerings from each of the restaurants in the SpeedyTab network.  Signing into your Speedy Tab account from the Logon to my SpeedyTab Account link atop the SpeedyTab.com home page is especially convenient because you are automatically "Signed In" to each restaurant you decide to "click on".  When you choose to place an order from a particular restaurant you are subsequently considered to be a patron of that restaurant.  Being a restaurant patron entitles you to receive excusive deals and information directly from the restaurant.

What if I requested a delivery and my order has not arrived yet?

Check your e-mail "In Box" for a confirmation email from SpeedyTab regarding your latest order.  If you have received the confirmation email then we suggest contacting the restaurant directly by calling the number provided atop your confirmation email. 

If more than five minutes have elapsed since you placed your order and you have not received a confirmation email regarding your latest order then, Logon to your Speedy Tab Account and click the "Talk by Phone" link located atop the right side of each restaurant page in the section titled "Help with Online Orders".  Alternatively, you may dial (877) SPDY-TAB, that is (877) 773-9822.  Please note, all delivery times are approximate and SpeedyTab makes not guarantees or warrants otherwise per Terms & Conditions

What if the restaurant I wish to order from is not listed on SpeedyTab.com?

Help SpeedyTab improve by visiting Request a Restaurant link. Please be prepared to provide, at a minimum, the Restaurant Name, City, State, Phone & Fax numbers. Additional information such as cuisine type, address, and the Proprietor's name would be of great assistance with Speedy Tab's efforts to offer a variety of restaurant choices at SpeedyTab.com.

Can I refer friends?

Absolutely!  SpeedyTab.com and the member restaurants of the SpeedyTab network depend on patrons support to grow and improve.  To that end please click the Tell a Friend.

What do I need to begin ordering my meal online?

You need at least one active email account with which you can use to Create a SpeedyTab account.

 

Do I need to register?

No, you can view restaurant menus without becoming a Speedy Tab.  However, if you wish to place an order via restaurant websites it is necessary to register and become a SpeedyTab.  Registering helps Speedy Tab maintain security and is a necessary part of providing quality service.  Once you register, you can take advantage of our versatile ordering process.  Your account allows you to save your favorite orders for thereby enabling you to rapidly repeat the same orders time after time.  Also, you can save multiple delivery address such as Home, Work, or School.  Best of all you will receive Amigo Coupons, special offers, and much more as a SpeedyTab. How much does an account cost?

What is a security key?

A Security Key completes the registration process by verifying a new user's email address. A Security Key is sent, via email, to a new user during the registration process.  Activating a new account is a one-time process; new users should click on the activation link contained in the registration email in order to activate their account.

 

What if I forgot my password?

If you forgot your password, we email it to the email address of record.

 

How can I edit my email address if it changes?

Logon to your SpeedyTab account. Select the "My SpeedyTab Account" link in the upper left corner of SpeedyTab.com. Next select the "View or change my account information" link located in the "My Account" section displayed in the center of the "My SpeedyTab Account" page.  You will then be able to edit all of your information including email address.

 

How do I cancel my account?

Canceling your SpeedyTab account is not necessary as the service is free.  If you don not anticipate using your account in the future we highly recommend spend all remaining Speedy Credits and / or Restaurant Cash; your account will ultimately go "in active" and these balances will be reduce incrementally to zero.

If you still wish to close your account, Contact Us and we will deactivate your account.  Keep in mind that you will forfeit all Speedy Credits and Restaurant Cash the moment your account is canceled per Terms & Conditions

 

How can I remove myself from promotional emails generated by SpeedyTab operated websites?

Most promotional material emailed by restaurants in the Speedy Tab network contain an 'Opt-out' link at the bottom. Click that and you will be automatically removed from that restaurant's list.  In the event your receive a SpeedyTab generated promotional e-mail that does not contain an 'Opt-Out' link please Contact Us and SpeedyTab with remove you from the appropriate list.

 

How may I view all of my SpeedyTab network orders?

Utilize Speedy Tab Logon  to view all of your SpeedyTab network orders. Select the "My SpeedyTab Account" link in the upper left corner of SpeedyTab.com. Next select the "View order I have made" link located in the "My Orders" section displayed in the center of the "My SpeedyTab Account" page. 

Important Note: If you opt to Logon to your SpeedyTab account after having accessed a restaurant's website directly by entering the restaurant's url (web address) only the orders you have placed at the restaurant will be visible to you at that time. 

 

How do I provide feedback on a previous order?

Sure, please Contact Us and include the order number and any other information you feel pertinent.  Or staff will work diligently to respond as soon as possible.

 

What do I do if the prices on the restaurant website are different than their menu?

In general, restaurants will honor prices displayed on their website which is hosted by SpeedyTab.  However, the restaurant does reserves the right to refuse an order per Terms & Conditions

We have found in most cases where there are discrepancies in prices it is due a recent price change in dishes affected by seasonality or just basic price increases.   In most cases these discrepancies works to the advantage of you the patron.  However, SpeedyTab would appreciate your help in identifying any price discrepancies by Contacting Us.  Include the restaurant name and phone number, city, state, and specific error so we can contact the restaurant and update their website accordingly.

 

How do I complain about a restaurants performance or the Speedy Tab service?

Please inform SpeedyTab about a negative aspect or our service or that of our member restaurants. When you Contact Us, be as specific as possible as this will help us improve service in a more timely fashion.

What do I need to begin ordering my meal online?

You need at least one active email account with which you can use to Create a SpeedyTab account.

 

How do I place an online order?

  1. Logon to your SpeedyTab account.  If you are not yet a SpeedyTab yet then please Create a SpeedyTab account. Note: You will only have to do this once.
  2. Click View Menu located in the center of the Welcome page or you may select from the "Menu Categories" section located atop the right side of the restaurants website.
  3. Select menu items by clicking on the price of the dish or item you wish to order.
  4. If applicable, you will be presented with a list of toppings which you may select according to your taste; click the corresponding circle or square adjacent to each topping.  Some optional toppings may cost extra and are marked accordingly.
  5. Once you have made your optional topping selections (if applicable) you must then click the "Add to My Order" located at the bottom right side of the center section.
  6. Each time you select "Add to My Order" the next page, "My Order", affords you the opportunity to adjust the quantity of each item in your order.  To adjust, look for the "Qty" column and associated boxes containing the count. The default quantity is "1".  If you would like more of same item, including the same topping selections, change the number in the box to reflect your desired amount.  Next, select the "Update My Order" icon located at the bottom left side of the center section of the "My Order" page.
  7. The "My Order" page also has "Remove" check boxes to the left of each item.  If you choose to remove an item click the corresponding box such that a check mark appears.  Next, select the "Update My Order" icon located at the bottom left side of the center section of the "My Order" page.
  8. VERY IMPORTANT: On "My Order" page, once you have made adjustments to quantity "Qty" and / or the "Remove" check boxes you must always select "Update My Order" icon located at the bottom left side of the center section of the "My Order" page.
  9. The "My Order" page also has the options, "Continue Ordering" & "Complete My Order" located the left of the "Update My Order" icons.  Select "Continue Ordering" if you wish to add more dishes or items to your order.  I you are satisfied with your order then select "Completed My Order".
  10. Selecting "Complete My Order" directs you to the "Order Fulfillment" page.  This page will display the default delivery address you previously established.  If you wish to select another address for this order to be delivered then select the "Change Address" icon.  Next, indicate your preference for a "Delivery" (charges may apply) or "Restaurant Pick-Up".  Please enter any special instruction in the "Add Comments About Your Order" section; this is the section where you should your instructs the Restaurant; for example" Cook the Burger Well Done" or "Please have driver knock on the Side Door".  Select "Continue" once you are satisfied with your selections.
  11. After selecting the "Continue" icon at the bottom of the "Order Fulfillment" page you are directed to the SpeedyTab Payment Engine.  Once in the "SpeedyTab Payment Engine" you will be required to enter / change your Payment Information and then ultimately stepped through a confirm process.  If you have questions regarding Payment Process please select the "Help" links within the "SpeedyTab Payment Engine"
  12. Once you have confirmed your order SpeedyTab will immediately send you a confirmation order to your registered email address.  Please check to ensure that you receive such an email within five minutes of confirming your order.  Additionally, we suggest you review the email for correctness.  If you are satisfied with your order then the only thing left to do is await delivery or Pick-Up your order respectively.
  13. If you detect an error in your order after you have confirmed your order we suggest you contact the restaurant directly via the number provided atop your confirmation email.
  14. Last, please enjoy your meal!

 

Can I order meals in advance or when the restaurant is closed?

In most cases the answer is yes: All orders, by default, are set for immediate fulfillment.  However, if the restaurant authorizes advanced ordering, you may designate the date and time SpeedyTab should submit your order to the restaurant. This option is presented to you once you have been routed to the "Order Fulfillment" page.   Very Important: If you opt for meal delivery, the time you designate is not the time your meal will be delivered to your address; it is the date and time the order is transmitted to the restaurant.  We suggest you factor in the approximate "Wait Time" each restaurant specifies in the "Restaurant Information" section denoted on the left side of the restaurant website.  Note: If you elect a payment method other than Cash On Delivery", your credit card, Speedy Credit, or Restaurant Cash accounts will be charged immediately upon order confirmation.  Also, keep in mind that all sales are final per the Refund Policy.

 

Can I call SpeedyTab.com to place my order?

We can call you!  Restaurant websites hosted by Speedy Tab are designed for web ordering. However, we understand that on occasion you may wish to speak with a representative.  Should you find it necessary to speak with someone please "Sign In" to your SpeedyTab account from the SpeedyTab.com home page then look for the "Customer Service" section on the right.  Once "Signed In", the link in the "Customer Service" section will have changed to "Talk By Phone".  If you have general questions about SpeedyTab.com or Speedy Tab we suggest you select the "Talk By Phone" link within the SpeedyTab.com website and follow the instructions in the resulting pop-up page.  If you have specific questions regarding an order from a particular restaurant we suggest you enter the restaurant website before selecting "Talk By Phone" as this extra step will connect you directly with the representatives which are most familiar with that restaurant.

 

Is there a minimum order amount?

Each restaurant in the SpeedyTab network has individual ordering guidelines. You will find these guidelines in the "Restaurant Information" section on the left side of the restaurant pages.

 

What are SpeedyTab's delivery limitations?

Each restaurant in the SpeedyTab network has individual delivery guidelines. You will find these guidelines in the "Restaurant Information" section on the left side of the restaurant pages.

 

Are there delivery charges?

Each restaurant in the SpeedyTab network has individual delivery guidelines. You will find these guidelines in the "Restaurant Information" section on the left side of the restaurant pages. Some restaurants my apply delivery charges.  These charges are clearly displayed on your order.

 

Can I have my order delivered to public or intuitional common areas?

How much time will my order take to fulfill?

Each restaurant in the SpeedyTab network has individual delivery and Pick-Up guidelines. You will find these guidelines in the "Restaurant Information" section on the left side of the restaurant pages.  In general most restaurants hosted by SpeedyTab will deliver within 60 minutes or have your meal ready for Pick-Up inside of 30 minutes respectively.  Of course, even these times are subject to variations due to demand during peak hours, poor weather, Holidays etc.

How do I change or cancel my current order?

Take action quickly!

Check your e-mail "In Box" for a confirmation email from Speedy Tab regarding your latest order. 

If you have received the confirmation email then we suggest contacting the restaurant directly by calling the number provided atop your confirmation email.  Please inform the restaurant staff that you wish to make a change to the order.  In most cases where there are small modifications to your order such as changing the flavor of a beverage or exchanging one toping for another most restaurants will accommodate.  

If more than five minutes have elapsed since you placed your order and you have not received a confirmation email regarding your latest order then, Logon to your SpeedyTab Account and click the "Talk by Phone" link located atop the right side of each restaurant page in the section titled "Help with Online Orders".  Alternatively, you may dial (877) SPDY-TAB, that is (877) 773-9822.

What is a confirmation email?

A conformation email is an email sent to you which the details your latest order.  The email is sent to you after the restaurant has successfully received your order. The confirmation email contains details such as the restaurants phone number, ordered menu items (including corresponding toppings), and your special instructions.

 

What should I do if I did not receive my confirmation email?

If more than five minutes have elapsed since you confirmed your order and you still have not received the confirmation email please insure you are checking the correct email account associated with our SpeedyTab account. 

Next, if the confirmation email is not in your inbox please make sure that it was not diverted into a junk, bulk, or spam folder; if you find your confirmation email in one of these folders we suggest you adjust your personal email settings such that future emails from SpeedyTab.com are sent to your in-box.  

Note: some email providers might mistakenly block or filter email sent by SpeedyTab.  If you feel this may be the case instruct your provider to approve SpeedyTab.com as an authorized send.

What are my payment options?

Each restaurant in the SpeedyTab network has individual payment options guidelines. You will find these guidelines in the "Restaurant Information" section on the left side of the restaurant pages.  In general, most SpeedyTab restaurants accept Cash on Delivery (COD), Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover, and eChecks. 

Additionally, SpeedyTab offers Speedy Credits as an alternative way to purchase meals.  Speedy Credits are redeemable at any of the restaurants in the SpeedyTab network and are similar to gift cards which you can use for buying meals for yourself.  You may also purchase Speedy Credits for other SpeedyTab Members.

Most SpeedyTab restaurants offer Restaurant Cash as yet another way to pay for your meal.  Restaurant Cash is also similar to gift cards, but may only be redeemed at the restaurant specified at the time of purchase.  Purchasing Restaurant Cash will add up to big savings over time since most restaurants offer bonus cash or free meal items as incentive to buy their Restaurant Cash.

 

What do I do if I paid for a meal using a credit card, but my order was canceled?

If you have received a confirmation e-mail, yet your order is canceled by the restaurant directly or by SpeedyTab for any reason then it is important you take action quickly!

There are a number of reasons a cancellation may occur.  The most expedient way to resolve the issue is to have our cancellation notice handy, then Logon to your SpeedyTab Account and click the "Talk by Phone" link located atop the right side of each restaurant page in the section titled "Help with Online Orders".

SpeedyTab thoroughly reviews all transactions and attempts to come to timely resolution to each inquire.  In most cases any changes to your account will be reflected within 2 business days.

What do I do If I was charged for a menu item that I did not receive?

Please review your confirmation email and compare it to the receipt the delivery person present at the time of delivery.  We apologies in advance for causing inconvenience if you find a discrepancy. Of course, sometimes this is unavoidable; restaurants occasionally run short certain items.  In most situations the restaurant will attempt to contact you directly to inform you of the deficiency.  Usually the restaurant offers a suitable substitute.  However, even the best make mistakes and sometimes there is really no excuse for a missing item.

We suggest you first attempt contact the restaurant directly at the number provided atop your confirmation email.  If they are unable to resolve the issue to your satisfaction then your next recourse is to Logon to your SpeedyTab Account and click the "Talk by Phone" link located atop the right side of each restaurant page in the section titled "Help with Online Orders".

Is there a cost to join the SpeedyTab network?

SpeedyTab's Web Post is FREE! SpeedyTab will create and host a FREE Customized Web Enable version of your menu.  We are so confident that your patrons will enjoy and utilize your Web Enabled Menu that we actually set up your web service for FREE.  If your patrons never place an order through the Web Enable Menu we create then you pay noting.  Speedy Tab charges a small transaction fee only when your patrons actually place an order.    SpeedyTab knows that once you experience the value of our basic service, Web Post, you will want to explore other ways Speedy Tab can help provide outstanding customer service.  Visit our Proprietors section for more information.

What is Restaurant Cash?

SpeedyTab Restaurant Cash service operates similar to a Gift Card.  Patrons are afforded the opportunity to purchase your Restaurant Cash for themselves or others.  If a Patron purchases your Restaurant Cash it can only be redeemed at your establishment(s).  Restaurant Cash is a great way for your establishment to lock in future spending.  Please Contact Us  for more information.
